The Bebras Challenge takes part online in a browser.
To make sure there will be no problems when loading the page or pictures, it is important that you check the technical requirements (appropriate hardware, operating systems, browsers, etc) and make sure, they are met. It is important to check them in case of problems.
Hardware
- Each learner (or team of two) requires access to a laptop, desktop computer, chromebook, iPad/iPadmini, Android Tablet as well as mouse and keyboard (except tablets)
- Compatibility is granted with most tablets. It can however not be guaranteed with all types, thus we suggest the use of laptops or desktop computers.
Bandwith
Make sure you have a bandwith from 20 - 50MBit/s available in case you ahve more than 100 participants at the same time.
Suggested Operating Systems

- MAC OS X (Big Sur) and newer
- Chrome OC 89+ and newer
Suggested Browsers
- Google Chrome and derivates like Vivaldi or Opera (updated to a version higher than 2020)
- Firefox (updated to a version higher than 2020)
- Safari (updated to a version higher than 2020)
- Edge (also Windows Surface, updated to a version higher than 2020)
