We had the opportunity to conduct a 2 hours workshop about Computational Thinking on Thursday, 11/09/2025 at the regional ICT Summit that took place in Okahandja from 08 - 12 September 2025. What an event that was!!! Approx 90 super smart learners (Grade 4 to 11) from all over the region that have been preselected based on their skills. It was an amazing event and we had a lot of fun!!!

The 21st annual Bebras Task Workshop took place in Seoul, South Korea in May 2025. Namibia has participated and also handed in two tasks that have been accepted. About 54 countries participated this year and connected and together, worked on more than 200 tasks to have another exciting Bebras Challenge ahead!

In Switzerland, Bebras is called Informatik-Biber Schweiz and exists already since 2010.

Recently, they started a journey around the world and visited us in Namibia, at least virtually :)

Prof. Valentina Dagienė from Lithuania visits Bebras Namibia. She actually founded the Bebras Challenge in 2004. It was an honour and a joy to have her with us.

During two weeks, a group from Trier University in Germany came to Namibia. Prof. Jacqueline Staub and her students Marlin Zapp, Andre Mertes and Sascha Paulus visited with us various schools and fell in love with Namibia.
